SUMMARY

Rie Ono was born in Atami, Japan in 1977. She is currently based in Berlin, Germany and Tokyo, Japan.She studied SOGETSU ikebana (Japanese flower arrangement art ) at Hinata Ikebana Studio in Tokyo, Japan from 2007 to 2013. After for six years studying, she successfully graduated fourth grade teacher’s course in 2013.
She taught SOGETSU ikebana and her original botanical art for multinational students at her own studio in Tokyo, Japan for two years. Since January 2015, she moved to Berlin, Germany and started to have her original botanical art workshops.
She has also participated to art exhibitions and made botanical art works for local companies, brands and shops, galleries, museums in Germany, Italy and Japan.
